Rickenbacker Bakelite B-6 "Panda" steels were the professional standard of their day. They are still generally considered by many players the finest-sounding lap steel ever made. Overall, this B-6 is in nice shape and sounds GREAT! It sports the highly desirable 1.5" large prewar style patented pickup and original Rickenbacher headstock logo.The white celluloid plates of this era are prone to cracks and chipping. This example shows both but still displays well. The pots are new but have the original tone and volume control dials. The tuners are original, work great, but have newer buttons. It's an amazing sounding and gig ready steel. No Case.
