AntiquiTone Vintage Guitars was founded and is run by Christo Ruppenthal, an award-winning professional musician and music entrepreneur. Christo earned an Associates of an Applied Science in Musical Instrument Repair in 2000 from Western Iowa Tech and worked as a full time repair tech until 2010. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Entertainement and Media Business in 2012 from Madison Media Institute. As a multi-instrumentalist, Christo plays Jazz and Django Reinhardt style Jazz Manouche guitar, Hawaiian lap steel guitar, and ukulele professionally. With thousands of gigs to his credit he is an avid performer and bandleader. Christo also owns Hot String Swing Records, and the DjangoShirts clothing line.
