This incredible custom ordered Gibson EH-150 ten string is one of only 11 made! Although it predates the Eddie Alkire E-Harp it would be perfect for players in that style. It also works wonderfully for expanding your favorite tunings.

According to Gibson ledgers there were 11 ten string EH-150s shipped, three in 1937, five in ’38, one in 1940, and two in ’41. This has the characteristics of a late 1937 EH-150 so it's safe to bet that it's one from the first year. 

The early Gibson EH-150 with the "Charlie Christian" style blade pickup is considered one of the best sounding lap steel guitars in the company's history, as well as one of the first successful electric instruments. With its lovely flame maple top and back triple-bound in celluloid and pearl peghead inlay, this is a stunning and unique lap guitar.
