1935 Dobro Fiddle Edge Model 32 Square Neck Guitar Resonator Lap Steel Hawaiian M32 M-32
This is a lovely steel bodied 1935 Dobro "Fiddle Edge" lap steel square neck resonator guitar. It would be perfect for bluegrass, blues, or any other genre where you need sliding power.
We know this Fiddle Edge Model 32 is from 1935 because that was the only year when these guitars were offered with a slotted headstock. This increases the breaking angle at the headstock and adds string tension for a very stable string feel. Due to their release during the Depression years, these Fiddle Edge Dobro guitars are pretty hard to find. And it seems safe to say that these earliest slotted headstock examples are the toughest.
