It sings in its current early Hawaiian style high bass A tuning but could easily accommodate a wide variety of open string tunings with the correct strings.

The guitar is almost entirely original. Only the nut, one cover plate screw, and one tuner button seem to be newer. The body is in very nice shape. Its chrome shines bright with only a slight patina. There are some minor scuffs here and there from light use and a couple of non-obtrusive smaller dings. A thin fingerboard hairline has been sealed and well disguised. It comes housed in its original high-quality green velvet-lined hard shell case.
